With 4,500 students enrolled in more than 40 undergraduate and graduate programs on four campuses, Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) is one of the leading technology institutions of higher education in Palestine. Like any professional technology institution, PPU has computer center. Colleges, students and staff rely on data and resources in the PPU Computer Center to effectively collaborate and interact.

Over the last years, PPU Computer Center grew rapidly to meet the extensive demands of data and internet resources.  In 2006, for example, the university upgraded the internet access link from PALTEL Company to the full capacity of leased line and added another internet access link from PADI2 network in order to be multi-homing computer center.
